Annual Steelhead trip on the Muskegon River

Schrems West Michigan Trout Unlimited has planned its 2009 Steelhead float trip for members and friends on the Muskegon River for Saturday, April 18, 2009.

We begin by meeting at the Croton Dam public access/boat launch at 9:00 a.m.  We will pair up fisherman and drift boats, spot vehicles to the Thornapple take-out point, and get on the water sometime around 10:00 a.m. We will provide a shore lunch for all, please bring your own choice of beverages.

As in the past we need drift boats from our members to make this happen.

Please contact Larry Risbridger at (home) 616.891.0148, (cell) 616.890.8327, (email) elrisbridger@charter.net, to reserve a place on the trip.

Please indicate if you can provide a drift boat, we need to know our ratio of boats to fishermen. If you have any questions, please give Larry at call.  When making your reservation please give your name, phone number and email address, in case we need to contact you.  There is no charge for this trip.

Is anyone driving from downtown Grand Rapids? Would you like to partner up?
