The upcoming Barry County Outdoor Recreation Youth Day is in need of some volunteers. The event will take place on Saturday, September 13, at Historic Charlton Park, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. You can view the event flyer here.
Joanne Barnard is looking for 1-2 volunteers to help at the lunch concession from 10:00 a.m. to about 2:30 p.m., taking lunch tickets and helping to get the food out to the kids when it is busy. She is also looking for 5-6 volunteers to help at registration, which is located in the Gas & Steam Barn, from 9:00 a.m. to around 12:30. Volunteers need to be there at 9:00 a.m. so we can go over the process and deal with any early-comers.
