Guidelines
Trout
Talk -- chapter newsletter
1.
Advertisements are generally accepted for
publication in Trout Talk.
2. Classified advertising is neither accepted
nor encouraged for publication in Trout
Talk.
3. Postal regulations require each issue of
Trout Talk "consist of at least 25%
non-advertising matter."
4. The chapter may award complimentary
advertising space at the discretion of the SWMTU
Board.
5. SWMTU reserves the right to accept or reject
proposed advertisements at its sole
discretion.

1.
The chapter website offers exclusive or shared
sponsorships on a first-come, first-served
basis. If a company wants an exclusive
sponsorship, no other sponsorships may be sold.
If a company wants a shared sponsorship, up to
three sponsorships may be sold.
2. All sponsorships last for a minimum of 12
months.
3. Classified advertising is not accepted.
4. The chapter website will link to member
websites free of charge. It may also link to
other appropriate websites free of
charge.

The
newsletter is mailed six times a year to about 800
members.
- $100
for one full page in one issue
- $50
for one half page in one issue
- $25
for one quarter page in one
issue

The
chapter website is freely available to chapter
members and the Internet public all day, every day.
It gets about 4,000 visits per year (333 visits per
month), and has about 50 pages.
- Exclusive
12-month sponsorship is $1,000. This consists of
a custom ad banner at the top of every page on
www.wmtu.org. Ad banner size is 468x60
pixels.
- Shared
12-month sponsorship is $500. Up to three
sponsorships are available. Each sponsor will
equally share space on the ad banner at the top
of every page. Total ad banner size is
468x60.

1.
Sponsorship inquiries may be directed to the
Trout Talk editor.
2. The editor should apply the guidelines. Any
questions should be brought before the SWMTU
Board.
3. Payment should be to Schrems West Michigan
Trout Unlimited. It can be hand-delivered to the
Board or mailed to West Michigan Trout
Unlimited, PO Box 230094, Grand Rapids, Michigan
49523.

potential sponsorships.
